The new café occupies a space of nearly 50 square meters. Kafka was designed as a modern, aesthetically pleasing, and cozy space, ideal for both brief meetings and spending time in a comfortable atmosphere while going about daily activities. The interiors feature a warm color palette with wood accents and distinctive bird motifs, which inspired the brand’s name.
The café’s menu includes, among other items, coffee and herbal teas, matcha, fresh juices, ice cream desserts, and pastries prepared according to original recipes. One of the brand’s signature products is the Basque cheesecake with glaze and crumble topping. Kafka is also developing its own line of handcrafted porcelain, emphasizing the artisanal and original nature of the concept.
– The importance of dining concepts based on quality, atmosphere, and experience is growing. Furthermore, coffee culture is becoming an important part of daily rituals today, and customers are increasingly looking for places that allow them to take a moment to pause during the day. Kafka perfectly meets the expectations of today’s consumers – says Justyna Kozioł, Senior Leasing Manager at Gemini Holding, adding – Shopping centers now play a much broader role than just shopping – they’re becoming spaces for meeting, relaxing, and spending free time. This is a trend we’re clearly seeing at Gemini Park Tarnów as well, where the entire restaurant segment recorded a 30 percent year-over-year increase in revenue in the first quarter of 2026.
Kafka is being developed by a company that has been active in the food service industry since 2009. The brand is built on product quality, refined aesthetics, and the guest experience. The brand plans to further expand its chain to additional locations in Poland.
– From the very beginning, we were committed to creating a timeless space that would meet the needs of diverse customer groups. Cafés have been a part of our lives for over a decade, so when creating Kafka, we wanted to combine our experience with a new, original approach to the café – a place where not only the product matters, but also the atmosphere and aesthetics – say Marta Bogusz and Oliwia Łusiak, founders of the Kafka brand.
