Artificial intelligence is playing an increasingly prominent role in the shopping journey, taking over product searches, comparisons and recommendations. At the same time, consumers are placing greater value on what algorithms cannot provide: the freedom to discover, direct contact with products and other people, and the experience of a physical space. According to Anna Malcharek, Managing Director of Gemini Holding, these are the advantages that will strengthen shopping centres’ relevance in the next phase of the retail market’s development.

Building long-term partnerships with tenants is the foundation of Gemini Holding’s strategy, supporting both the stability and appeal of Gemini Park shopping centres’ offerings and strong leasing results. At the autumn edition of Shopping Center Forum, Gemini Holding will therefore be represented by a broad team of leasing and management professionals, led by Anna Malcharek, Managing Director.

Gemini Park Tarnów is set to gain a new space dedicated to sport and recreation. Xtreme Fitness Gyms, Poland’s largest fitness club chain, will join the centre’s tenant line-up. The opening will broaden the property’s role, reflecting the growing importance of leisure in shopping centres. The club is expected to open in December.

With 36 agreements and addenda, 19 new or refurbished units opening and occupancy close to 100%, Gemini Park Bielsko-Biała, Tarnów and Tychy closed the first half of 2026 with very strong results. At all three properties, average monthly sales grew faster than national trends, with growth also comfortably outpacing inflation.

Above-average sales performance, full occupancy, a strong tenant mix and high customer loyalty – Gemini Park Tarnów has maintained its position as one of the leading shopping destinations in the Małopolska region for years. Behind these results lies a strategy tailored to the local market, built on a thorough understanding of customers’ needs, active management of the offering and tenant relationships, and the centre’s continued development.

Gemini Holding is expanding its partnership with Reporter, a brand specialising in contemporary streetwear for young consumers. In August, the brand opened two new stores, at Gemini Park Tarnów and Gemini Park Bielsko-Biała. Both feature the brand’s new store concept, strengthening the centres’ fashion offering for teenagers and young adults.

A Monnari store reopened at Gemini Park Tarnów on 20 August. The Polish brand’s return strengthens one of the centre’s key segments – fashion, which is recording sales growth above the market average here this year.

Customers visiting shopping centres mainly notice the stores, events and shopping comfort. Behind all of this, however, lies an extensive technical infrastructure that ensures safety, the right temperature, high air quality and the reliable operation of every system, day after day. Although the work of technical departments is almost invisible to customers, it is one of the key factors in keeping any property running smoothly.

Gemini Park Bielsko-Biała has expanded its offering with the addition of a Castorama Design Studio. The new concept, which opened on 13 August, strengthens the centre’s growing services segment, providing customers with comprehensive support in planning and delivering interior design projects, from the initial idea to installation.
