In 2023, Gemini Park Tychy celebrates its fifth anniversary. Following last year’s expansion, the facility has grown to nearly 44,000 square meters of Gross Leasable Area (GLA), housing not only retail and entertainment space but also modern office areas. Gemini Park Tychy, welcoming an average of 400,000 customers per month, continues to expand its offerings. Calvin Klein Jeans/Tommy Jeans and Let’s Bubble are just some of the brands added to the portfolio this year. Another opening, planned for the second half of 2023, will surely delight the youngest visitors – a modern playroom is set to be established in the shopping center.

Since its opening in 2018, Gemini Park Tychy has been working on developing its retail and entertainment proposition for clients from the Silesian agglomeration. A diverse range of offerings from 120 tenants ensures that the shopping center strengthens its position in the Silesian retail market. Among the brands present in the Tychy center are renowned names like TkMaxx, H&M, New Yorker, Halfprice, brands from the LPP group, Media Expert, and Empik. Alongside neighboring stand-alone stores like OBI, Media Markt, Castorama, and Merkury Market, the Tychy shopping center creates a comprehensive interior furnishings and electronics/home appliances offering within the local power center. Gemini Park Tychy itself has 8 stores in this segment, including Jysk and RTV EURO AGD. Additionally, the center leases over 2,500 square meters of high-class office space and provides 1,100 parking spaces.

However, from its inception, the investor envisioned Gemini Park Tychy as more than just a shopping space with a wide selection of brands. The ambitions of the Tychy shopping center go much further – the shopping center aims to create a modern, multimedia, and interdisciplinary cultural and educational center sensitive to environmental and ecological issues and committed to supporting and developing the local community. Partnerships with the City Cultural Center and local artistic initiatives have resulted in many pioneering nationwide collaborations, such as the “Window to Culture” project and the Tychy Festival of Independent Theaters Andromedon.

– Gemini Park Tychy is a special place on the Silesian retail map and also in the entire portfolio of Gemini Holding. I think that over the last 5 years, we have proven that we have an idea of how to create a unique space in Tychy that meets the expectations of our customers. We ensure that our proposed solutions are in line with market trends. We want to be a sensitive, attentive neighbor, responsive to the local community. The expansion we carried out in Tychy during the pandemic shows that we take our commitments seriously, even under unfavorable market conditions – stresses Anna Malcharek, Managing Director of Gemini Holding, the investor of the gallery in Tychy.

The cultural offering of Gemini Park Tychy became even richer after the completion of the expansion. Since last year, thanks to cooperation with Multikino, one of the most modern cinemas in Silesia has been operating in the facility. Its debut further expanded the shopping center’s functions, significantly increasing the existing footfall.

The shopping center in Tychy continues to develop, as evidenced by new leases. In 2023, long-term partner Silesia Jeans opened its second store with two renowned fashion brands, Tommy Jeans and Calvin Klein Jeans. The long-term strategy of developing the fashion section in Gemini Park has made it possible for visitors to access over 40 Polish and foreign brands.

In 2023, another well-known and popular brand with Silesian roots moved into Gemini Park Tychy. Let’s Bubble combines the original Taiwanese idea of bubble tea with a focus on high-quality ingredients – where possible, the bubble tea is made using Polish resources.

Changes and openings are not limited to stores but also include specialized and service points. Since this year, visitors to Gemini Park Tychy have had access to pharmaceutical services in the newly opened Ziko Pharmacy. Also, this year, the shopping center opened the only PGNiG customer service point in Tychy.

– New openings and initiatives confirm our ambition to become a significant retail center and a hub for creating unique artistic, social, and educational experiences for customers. We are committed to continuously expanding our offer and providing a comprehensive range of retail, service, and entertainment options, so that our visitors can meet all their needs under one roof in the most convenient and attractive way possible. This year, we certainly have not yet had the last word, with more unique events to come – promises Tomasz Misztalewski, Director of Gemini Park Tychy.
