The Friends of Kasprowy Wierch Gatherings unite a community bound by their passion and love for the mountains—particularly for this “Holy Mountain” of Polish skiers. The initiative promotes dialogue among all communities connected to the peak, with its members actively engaging in the sustainable development of Kasprowy. The project also includes meetings and thematic exhibitions.

The Friends of Kasprowy Wierch Gatherings are a beautiful tradition that brings people closer to each other and to the mountains. The “Cable Car to Kasprowy” exhibition premiered on Kasprowy Wierch and, after its run there, will be expanded and moved to Gemini Park Tarnów. The exhibition will help raise awareness of Kasprowy among those who have yet to discover this extraordinary place and inspire them to explore one of Poland’s most legendary peaks. Through the unconventional perspective of budding artists, the exhibition has a strong chance of resonating with the younger generation.

The competition to design the exhibition is the first phase of the project. Its concept is based on the use of original exhibits, memorabilia, and presentations on the construction of the Kasprowy Wierch cable car, with its centerpiece being PKL cable car no. 4. The project includes the conservation restoration of the cable car, the collection of exhibits, and the preparation of a documentary film and multimedia presentations that will be part of the exhibition.
