The collaboration with the residents of Tarnów in creating the board resulted in the inclusion of local monuments, service points, and iconic locations. Alongside the cathedral, the City Hall, and other vital landmarks, players will also find Gemini Park Tarnów.
“Being featured in the game of Monopoly is not only a prestigious recognition for us but, above all, a symbolic highlight of the role we play in the lives of Tarnów’s residents. As a shopping center, we blend a retail offer with entertainment events and social initiatives. For fifteen years, we have consistently built relationships with the local community, and our presence on the Monopoly board is a beautiful crowning achievement of this strategy,” says Joanna Rzepecka-Zienko, Marketing Director of Gemini Park Tarnów.
Gemini Park Tarnów has long maintained its leadership position in the local retail market, boasting 100% commercialization. This year, the center signed a total of 25 lease agreements and extensions, covering over 15,630 sq. m. New tenants include popular brands such as Rituals, Venezia, JD Sports, Triumph, DlaSpania, Popeyes, and Sinsay. Furthermore, the offer was bolstered by new concepts and store expansions from brands including Apart, Mohito, Rossmann, Bytom, and 4F.
Throughout the year, Gemini Park Tarnów implemented numerous projects and initiatives, serving as a vital urban hub that integrates the local community. The event calendar featured family educational workshops with the Passage of Discovery Science and Technology Center, as well as animations and play zones for children. The center also hosted “edutainment” projects led by prominent personalities – including a cooking event with Robert Makłowicz and gardening workshops with Łukasz Skop. Sports enthusiasts enjoyed events such as the extreme Gemini Tarnów Tytan Run and the Costume Run celebrating the facility’s 15th anniversary. Cultural contributions remained a key priority, with artistic exhibitions during the national Long Night of Museums and ongoing support for the Tarnów Film Awards.
Tarnów now joins the prestigious group of cities with their own Monopoly editions, including Gdańsk, Kraków, Poznań, Katowice, Wrocław, and Łódź, offering residents a new and engaging way to explore their city.
