The modernized Media Markt has been open to the public since early December. While maintaining its popular “core” format, the store has enhanced its space with cutting-edge display and visual solutions. Upon entering, customers are greeted by a 30-meter Entry Statement zone, featuring an impressive TV screen that gives the space a modern feel and sets the stage for the innovative experience within.
The new concept focuses on practical engagement with technology. The E-mobility zone showcases a wide array of scooters and mobile devices, while immersive manufacturer zones allow customers to test equipment in real-world conditions, significantly facilitating informed decision-making. Furthermore, the Smart Home zone introduces the latest home automation solutions in an accessible and highly functional manner.
The store’s layout was meticulously engineered for maximum customer comfort and intuitive movement between product categories. This concept is a direct response to modern retail trends, where physical stores must offer flexible and engaging experiences to remain competitive.
The transformation of Media Markt at Gemini Park Tarnów aligns with the center’s strategic vision.
“In today’s retail environment, the ability to react quickly to changing customer needs and market trends is essential to maintaining high competitiveness. At Gemini Park Tarnów, we consistently develop our offer not only by introducing new brands but also by supporting our long-term tenants who invest in evolving their formats. It is their openness to modernization, implementation of advanced solutions, and creation of attractive consumer experiences that build long-term value for the entire center,” emphasizes Joanna Zemczak, Head of Lease at Gemini Holding.
The opening of the new Media Markt coincided with a peak period for the consumer electronics industry. According to this year’s PayPo study on Black Friday shopping, electronics rank as the second most popular category after apparel. Additionally, Google’s “Black Friday 2025 in Poland” report indicates that Polish consumers are shifting toward a strategy of “deliberate shopping,” planning their November and holiday purchases well in advance and treating them as conscious investments based on cost analysis.
The new iteration of Media Markt at Gemini Park Tarnów perfectly reflects these trends, combining shopping convenience with the opportunity for informed consumer choice.
